Beyond Materials
Beyond Materials is a compilation of dance works involving heavy use of sample manipulation and soundscape composition. Patterns, Jen’s Solo, Random Notes, and Pauls Solo are from Farewell by Nugent+Matteson Dance. Long Turning and Mirror are from Resurface by 7 Arts and Nambucca is made largely from a field recording of Nambucca Australian night insects and tree frogs.
